Welcome to my website and I'm glad you found my art! 

I am a visual artist from Helsinki and I mainly paint large-scale abstract and animal-themed acrylic and oil paintings. I currently work full-time as an artist and entrepreneur.

My acrylic paintings are dreamlike semi-abstract landscapes, where thick layers of abstract paint painted with a palette knife are combined with precisely painted descriptive details, which sometimes you only notice when looking at the work closer. My works are also characterized by the abundant use of metallic paints and hammered metal. In my works, I sometimes reflect on e.g. endangered animal species, the effects of climate change and the interaction between urbanism and nature. For my paintings, I have also sought tonal worlds, subjects and influences from history, the painting art of the 18th and 19th centuries, but combined them with the present day and my own painting style.
